Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted December 26, 2024 Journalists Share Posted December 26, 2024 16-1 longshot J B STRIKES BACK (g, 3, Goldencents–Allanah, by Scat Daddy) upset the inaugural running of the GII Laffit Pincay, Jr. Stakes (previously run as the San Antonio Stakes) Thursday at Santa Anita in his first jump up into stakes company. Having broken his maiden in a $20,000 claimer at Del Mar in July, the Chief Stipe O'Neill runner won his last two starts both going one mile while facing allowance optional claimers at Del Mar Nov. 3 and Nov. 24 respectively.
