Trojan Posted yesterday at 01:39 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:39 AM Been to Trentham twice in the last year for big meetings both times the trains were cancelled for the day. Bet the same thing has happened today or people have given up. Surely the club can talk to whoever does the maintenance and get it deferred for about 6 Saturdays a year! As for frigging shute! Where else in the world is the only vision you can get for the first 600m of a Group Sprint is from an overhead drone!! Because the built houses and left piles of rubble that blocks the view!!! Not only for cameras but for Stewards and people on course!!! Are you there @Dark Beau ? Sort it NOW!!!

To be honest, they could probably use a small shuttle bus to personally pick up everyone who wanted to take the train today, and give them their own table in the members stand 3
TAB For Ever Posted yesterday at 02:32 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:32 AM (edited) Kumara had FREE buses from Greymouth and Hokitika plus us elite patrons had a choice of helicopter as well. I recently went to the races at Flemington by train , but I checked prior that they were running ! Recent carry on would suggest that Wellington City has its fair share of public transport issues . Einstein quote re doing same thing expecting different results . Edited yesterday at 02:34 AM by TAB For Ever Einstein

They tore down the public stand - couldnt they have put up some marquees or gazebos. It looked like an empty wasteland.

The committee room is still in pristine condition which is absolutely vital so that the Old Boys of The Committee can gather around during and after the day's racing to pat each other in the back and reflect on what a successful day they have run.
