Favored Tappan Street (Into Mischief) was second; Burning Glory (Into Mischief) was third. The 4-1 chance, drawn widest of all in post seven, trailed the field through an opening quarter in :23.42. He advanced on the inside down the backstretch, was shifted to the outside on the far turn and set his sights on Tappan Street at the top of the stretch.
