Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted 12 hours ago Journalists Share Posted 12 hours ago The lightly raced 'TDN Rising Star' Eagles Flight (Curlin), a half-brother to the once-in-a-lifetime Flightline (Tapit), cleared his first allowance condition with a dominating victory as the even-money favorite at Santa Anita Saturday evening. Placed in a tracking second on the clubhouse turn, he stuck his head in front on the backstretch, let it out a notch through a half mile in :45.89 and took care of business from there to win going away by five lengths over Santarena (Omaha Beach). Eagles Flight earned his 'Rising Star' badge sprinting on debut at Santa Anita May 27, then was second best behind Mirahmadi (Into Mischief) off the bench while making his two-turn debut over track and trip Jan. 4. After producing a colt by Tapit last year, Feathered was bred back to the leading sire for 2025. Lifetime Record: 3-2-1-0.
