Fasig-Tipton-Winner-Logo.jpgSticking to his guns throughout the GIII Oaklawn Mile Stakes, Banishing (Ghostzapper–Dowager, by A.P. Indy) overtook GISW Saudi Crown (Always Dreaming) down the lane and netted his first high-level race.

The second choice at 8/5 behind even-money Saudi Crown, the 5-year-old followed the lead of his rival into the first turn and up the backstretch. With his cue given past the quarter pole, the gelding steadily reeled in the leader and won the prize.

The final running time was 1:36.77.

Lifetime Record: 17-7-2-2. Sales History: $80,000 '24 FTKHRA.
