Thorpedo Anna (Fast Anna), who was named Horse of the Year and champion of her generation at the Eclipse Award ceremonies in January, was recognized with the same honors at Friday night's annual champion Kentucky-Bred Awards Dinner.

The daughter of Sataves (Uncle Mo) was campaigned to six wins from seven starts in 2024, highlighted by victories in the GI Longines Kentucky Oaks and GI Breeders' Cup Distaff. In total, she took out five elite-level contests and was narrowly runner-up in the GI Travers Stakes against the boys while earning better than $3.65 million.

'TDN Rising Star' Sierra Leone (Gun Runner) was recognized as the champion Kentucky-bred 3-year-old male on the strength of his victory in the GI Breeders' Cup Classic at year's end.

Of the 13 divisional winners, nine were adding champion Kentucky-bred laurels to their victories at the Eclipse Awards. Cogburn (Not This Time) was recognized as both champion Kentucky-bred turf male and champion Kentucky-bred sprinter for a season that was highlighted by a record-setting success in the GI Jaipur Stakes at Saratoga. She Feels Pretty (Karakontie {Jpn}) missed out to Ontario-bred Moira (Ghostzapper) at the Eclipse Awards, but took home the hardware Friday evening for the champion Kentucky-bred turf female.

Puca (Big Brown) was named broodmare of the year, having been represented by GI Belmont Stakes winner Dornoch (Good Magic) just one year after her son Mage (Good Magic) took out the GI Kentucky Derby. The mare has her third straight produce on the Classics trail this spring in the form of Baeza (McKinzie), recent runner-up in the GI Santa Anita Derby.
