Purchased for €250,000 last October from ARQARC on the back of her maiden score at Chantilly, she was imported to the States to race for the partnership of Madaket Stables LLC, Michael Dubb, and Richard Schermerhorn. Sent out here from the shed row of Chad Brown, she went to post with first-time Lasix and carrying 5-2 odds, Al Jafara watched the race as the caboose in this contest and launched an eye-catching rally coming off the far bend. Closing home furiously, she inhaled the pacesetters and kicked on to score impressively. She is the second winner from five US starters for Pinatubo (Ire).
