At the bell, Opulent Restraint (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) shot to the lead, while 2-1 second choice Laurelin was saving his strength for the late innings. As the pacesetter began to tire down the lane, the Graham Motion trainee was finding his best stride. Laurelin got his picture taken and netted his second black-type trophy.
