He will stand for A$27,500 (inc GST) after a Royal Ascot campaign. Out of G3 Prix de Saint-Georges heroine Beyond Desire (Invincible Spirit), the son of Zoustar was bred by Branton Court Stud in Great Britain. Sold for 55,000gns out of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 2 to Dermot Farrington on behalf of Jim and Fitri Hay, Starlust is currently trained by Ralph Beckett and is pointing to the G1 King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot. A six-time winner, he won the G3 Sirenia Stakes and was third in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at two. At three, he added a third in the G1 Nunthorpe Stakes prior to his Breeders' Cup heroics. Overall, he has earned $915,137 in 19 starts. “This is a genuine game-changer for us,” said Nick Taylor, managing director of Riverstone Stallions. “To have a stallion of Starlust's calibre, one who has conquered the world's fastest horses on the biggest stage, as our foundation stallion is beyond exciting.” The half-brother to stakes winner Queen Of Desire (Dubawi) is also related to G2 Zipping Classic winner Beautiful Romance (New Approach).
