Margie's Intention (Honor A. P.) was second; Kinzie Queen (McKinzie) was third.

The final time for 1 1/16 miles was 1:45.61.

Fondly won her first two career starts, led by the Virginia Oaks, then finished 11th in the GI Kentucky Oaks.
