The total number of people attending was 286,541, while last year the number was 273,528. During the final day of the meeting, 71,073 people were on hand, up 2.6% on the 2024 total of 69,291. Felicity Barnard, CEO of Ascot Racecourse, said, “It has been a fantastic week with some brilliant sport to enjoy. I think we have been a window for our sport and I am absolutely thrilled. “We have welcomed more than 285,000 people across the site, nearly a 5% increase on last year. I think we have worked really hard across the year to understand what people want when they come to a world class event like this; the right pricing, the right product, and we have worked really hard at the experience. “We want to make sure everyone has a great time, whether they are here for the horses, the food or the fashion. It is a wonderful eco-system and we are already excited for next year.” The post “Nearly A 5% Increase On Last Year”: Royal Ascot Attendance Jumps To 286,541 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
