SCRATCH IT (f, 2, Tapit–Carolyn's Cat, by Forestry) posted the 12-1 upset Friday in her debut going 1 1/16 miles on firm turf at Saratoga. The Fasig-Tipton grad, who brought $490,000 at the Saratoga Sale last year, led this field from the beginning but had company for much of her run from Miss Picky (Uncle Mo) who dogged her throughout. Set down under Manny Franco at the quarter pole, Scratch It found another gear and stole away for a front-running score ahead of Connect the Stars (Connect). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0.

O-Galvin, Fergus, Magnier, Mrs. M. V. and Shanahan, Linda; B-Newtown Anner Stud Farm; T-Brad H. Cox. Sales History: $490,000 ylg '24 FTSAUG.

🤩 #5 SCRATCH IT ($26.60) finds she has an extra gear and wins on debut in Race 4 at Saratoga. @jockeyfranco was in the saddle for @bradcoxracing. Congratulations to all of the connections with this 2yo filly by @Gainesway's Tapit.
