CAPITAL PARTNER (c, 2, Kingman {GB}–Blue Waltz {GB}, by Pivotal {GB}) came from well back and closed in a rush to become a new 'TDN Rising Star' for the connections of Klaravich Stables and trainer Chad Brown at Saratoga Saturday. The 9-5 favorite got squeezed back on the run into the first turn and spent most of the race in the second flight while well off the lead of  Orbit (Medaglia d'Oro). Still fifth with a lot of ground to make up around the far turn, Flavien Prat swung his mount wide and, with nothing but clear running room in front of him at the furlong pole, Capital Partner came flying late to just nail the dueling pacesetters of British Invasion (Ire) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) and Orbit in the final strides. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0.
