REGAL RESOLVE (GB) (Kingman {GB}) is another notable by Juddmonte's sire sensation starting out on the opening fixture of Deauville's August Festival, this time in this often-informative card-opening Prix de Crevecoeur won in 2017 by the subsequent Poule d'Essai des Poulains hero Olmedo and in which Persian King was second in 2018. Juddmonte's 500,000gns Tattersalls October Book 1 relative of the St James's Palace Stakes hero Barney Roy is introduced by Francis-Henri Graffard against Gestut Schlenderhan's Torpedo (Ger) (New Bay {GB}), a Victoria Head-trained half-brother to the Prix de Diane third Tasmania (Australia); Baron Edouard de Rothschild's Too Darn Quick (GB) (Too Darn Hot {GB}), an Andre Fabre-trained half-brother to the Vermeille runner-up Melo Melo (Gleneagles); and the Wertheimers' Elastic (Fr) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), a Christophe Ferland-trained half-brother to Siyouni's highly-regarded three-year-old colt Sinileo.
