Oh God I would call it f---k off you sleazy slime ball race

Should really be named after a Maiden race, as that’s what the slime ball spent his time looking at, well down their tops anyway.

Not very often an Internal Inquirey is held.  But there was one!!     and the results were covered up!!!  You Loved those younger girls and their "G Strings".. Good Ridence G.String Gav..    Taupo and the Swamp for you ?.   Shame you  didn't  treat Shayne with a bit more   respect,  as until you broke all rules of "Integrity" she was the best Kennel Steward we had..  You dodery old man   in a position that makes or breaks  the  existence of many,  you maniputated and cheated...

Hmmm...

Looks like the racing manager & board made their beginning statement over a BIGTIME CD inadequacy…

A must read!

Excellent thread yankiwi. I have had 3 or more dogs fall on going into the first bend at wanganui. Subsequently through fear they have hesitated on that bend in following races. Gavin and Mike have out them out. Failing to pursue. This is maidens I am talking about

When it comes to the court case I hope they have a look at the corrupt fuckers bank accounts as some of these decisions made while he has acted as God in the CD over the last few years could make you think money’s changed hands or even double dipping and on the wage at Coles .

So Gavin & Mike both claim the dog "flicked" it's head.

The GRNZ board, racing manager & the JCA all agreed the dog failed to pursue. The overseas expert claimed the dog marred the #7 (which is the view I hold).

Yet the review was found in favour of the defendant?

Not only does the RIU need a serious rev-up or to go altogether, the JCA are equally inept at performing their part of the justice system.

Good on headquarters, essentially taking on Gavin for one of his colluded corrupt decisions. It's about time they did something about it. I guess they can claim to have lost this battle but they have won the overall war, as it's the waning days of GW career with the RIU. I'm not a person of any religious faith, but I will be among many of those with an interest in the greyhound industry who will be thanking gawd.

Good Wriddence GW (typo intended).

I think their time would have been better spent taking a review of multiple decisions made in the CD over the last six months. The collective strength of such footage would have found in their favour and probably pointed to a potential pattern. It is great that the decision makers have been put on notice, but is it enough? The issue was not a one-off. Just my opinion.

Gavin Whiterod and Mike Austin are just not capable and seriously cannot Read a dog race. They are Not passionate genuine dog lovers and just don't get it. Some of their calls over the years have been attrocious and unjust, unfairly handicapping dogs and struggling owners . Flick of the head in this instance My arse, ..Maybe with the dubious Whiterod finally leaving Austin might grow some balls too as he was never capable of questioning the Corrupt thinking Whiterods actions at times...Will be interesting to see if finally we can get a Head Steward that can gain respect and impartially treat ALL with fairness and knowledge.  Scotty Wallis ?? hell I don't like the chances of this though...

There are some very big difference between these two gentleman.

Mike has integrity & Gavin lacks it. Mike actually tries to do a good job, Gavin doesn't.

Mike does lack some of the knowledge of how to be a Steward for the greyhound code, but I believe with time & not being supressed & held back by the corrupt decisions handed down under Gavin's leadership, he will learn the game & become one of the better, if not best Steward we have looking after the code.

Yes Mike has made his fair share of mistakes, but never once have I gone over the top about any of them. His mistakes were made with the right intentions. Most people learn from their mistakes & I believe that Mike is that type of person.

Agree with the differences, Mike does have Integrity and has been dealt a hard hand. having to put up with Whiterods Bullshit. There is a vital Position for Mike going forward and I don't believe it is Head Steward..He could flourish now though,  if he chooses to take on the challenge.. What is  troubling is why  Scotty Wallis has been  picked by the Spineless Godber who is so under qualified for his position it is laughable. The R.I.U. and the J.C.A, need some serious help in restructuring and Winston Peters is failing all in Racing by not dealing to this.... Any way..good riddence Whiterod we all can only improve with you out of the way....

My statement from a few weeks back, but now I am questioning my own words.

Would any of the CD's "little birdies" either in this thread or via PM to myself (so I can bring more out in to the open without a fear of the iron fist) like to comment on what I have heard?

Friday night Wanganui, it sounds as though Brendon was first emptying some dogs off of the track property. A bit later on, he was seen inside of the track property (of which he is warned off), had a bit of a chat with another person, who questioned him as to why he was on the property. I understand from there Mike was made aware of the situation, phoned the new top dog (SW) for advice. SW then went on to phone Godber for advice from even further up the food chain & Godber instructed them to just let things be, as he was to meet with Mario the next day or two.

If this is indeed fact, then Mike has dropped the ball 100% as he should have addressed the situation on the spot. Being on the property while being warned off is in breach, as far as I recall, of the racing act & the police should have been immediately involved.

Or he was instructed to let it be, because Godber is more incompetent than we thought or is another envelope recipient.

"Silence is Golden"  or so the saying goes'..... Cole and Rendle in the Meantime have creamed the system and added many  more dollars to their cause. What has been done about Cole Abusing a member of the public who was within his rights walking his dogs ? and breaking another rule by entering the Race track.. Godber, you were going to  talk to Little Mario, Have you done this,?  Did you discuss the fact Cole once again has bought the sport into Disrepute and continues to do so.. How about being more transparent and coming clean.. after all if you had of done your  duties you lot, we wouldn't be in this mess....
