Peter Blum homebred ELITE (Into Mischief) makes her first start for trainer Rodolphe Brisset. Out of Flawless (Mr. Greeley), the 2-year-old is a full-sister to current sire Authentic. Also drawn in the same race is Gary & Mary West homebred Fashion Designer (Into Mischief), who is trained by Brad Cox. Her dam Beach Walk produced current sire Life Is Good and GSW Most Wanted (Candy Ride {Arg}).

Woodslane bred Sister Troienne (Munnings) is a Brian Lynch trainee whose own dam is a half-sister to GISW Sadler's Joy (by Kitten's Joy) and GSW Wolfie's Dynaghost (Ghostzapper). Opening the Travers Day card is a maiden special weight which includes Phipps & St. Elias homebred Quiet Power (Tapit). The colt is out of Sabbatical (Medaglia d'Oro), a half-sister to GISW Imagining (Giant's Causeway), and this is an extended female family which includes GI Kentucky Derby hero Super Saver (by Maria's Mon) and GI Haskell Stakes champ Bluegrass Cat (Storm Cat). Staying put at the Spa, Glamorize (Maxfield) is unveiled for Resolute and trainer Chad Brown. Taken home by John Stewart for a cool million during Keeneland September, the filly is a half-sister to GI Alabama Stakes victress Randomized (Nyquist). Her extended female family is made up of the likes of MGSW Smooth Air (Smooth Jazz), GII Sanford Stakes winner Overdriven (by Tale of the Cat), MGISW Got Stormy (Get Stormy) and MSW Sir Alfred James (Munnings).

Touch of Magic (Into Mischief) makes her first start for trainer Steve Asmussen. Whisper Hill & Three Chimneys touched $5.2-million at the 2021 Fasig-Tipton Fall Mixed Sale to acquire dam Magical World (Distorted Humor) while Touch of Magic's full-brother, 'TDN Rising Star' Cornucopian, was in-utero. This productive mare is responsible for MGISW Guarana (Ghostzapper), SW Magic Dance (More Than Ready) and GSW Beatbox (by Pioneerof the Nile).

The maiden roll call continues as Celebrity Quest (Nyquist) heads out as part of a coupled entry for trainer Tom Amoss (Nyquist). Greenwell Thoroughbreds went to $525,000 during Keeneland September, and the filly's dam is a herself a half-sister to GISW Power Broker (Pulpit) and the dam of current sire Seize the Grey (by Arrogate).

Meanwhile, Tam Tam (Medaglia d'Oro) was a Rigney buy for $975,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale. Sent to house trainer Phil Bauer, the 2-year-old's second dam is champion 2-year-old filly Folklore (Tiznow). TJCIS PPS

Finally at the seaside oval a pair of well-bred Bob Baffert trainees are set to debut. Spendthrift won the Monomoy Girl (Tapizar) sweepstakes when the farm went to $9.5-million to acquire the dual champion back in 2020. Her initial foal is Provenance (Into Mischief), who will be joined here by fellow first-timer Plutarch. The colt is also out of a champion–Stellar Wind (Curlin). M.V. Magnier added the multiple Grade I winner to his broodmare band after going to $6-million at the 2017 Keeneland November Sale. TJCIS PPS
