'TDN Rising Star' Nysos (Nyquist) has been scratched from Saturday's GI Pacific Classic. While the official reason is currently listed as “Unavailable”, the Daily Racing Form noted that trainer Bob Baffert confirmed it to be a “foot issue”. The 4-year-old Baoma Corp-owned colt was exiting wins in the GIII Triple Bend Stakes and the GIII San Diego Handicap. Named the 8-5 morning-line favorite, his scratch leaves Journalism (Curlin) and Fierceness (City of Light) fighting for the top wagering choice.
