GISW Ag Bullet (Twirling Candy–Noble Grey, by Forestry) looked to go back-to-back in the GII Never Say Die Ladies Turf Sprint at Kentucky Downs on Saturday and she did just that by winning pillar to post.

The 5-year-old, who was last seen taking her first Grade I in the Jaipur Stakes at the Spa June 8, was backed as the heavy favorite here. Rolling from the bell, Ag Bullet gained the advantage and kept to the task around the far turn. With no one able to catch her, the mare held off a late charge from Simply in Front (Summer Front) to earn the prize.

The final running time was 1:13.13.

Lifetime Record: 15-8-0-2. Sales History: KEENOV '20 $30,000; KEESEP '21 $220,000.

O-Nguyen, Calvin and Tran, Joey C.; B-H&E Ranch (KY); T-Richard Baltas.
