The bay filly caught the eye of the 'Three Amigos'–the sales alias of Mike Pegram, Karl Watson and Paul Weitman–at this year's OBS March Sale, where she breezed a furlong in :9 4/5 and was knocked down for $550,000. Sounds Lucky is the 5-2 morning-line selection and has go-to rider Juan Hernandez up.
