A colt foal by Walk In The Park brought a top price of €145,000 from Gerry Aherne during the second session of the Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale on Tuesday.

Consigned by Oliver Loughlin, lot 433 is out of the Stowaway mare Posh Trish, who won at listed level at Cheltenham and Newbury.

Two other lots exceeded the six-figure mark–a Yellowford and Drumlin-consigned son of Crystal Ocean and Park The Jet (Walk In The Park) (lot 428) who caught the eyes of Charles Shanahan and Ian Ferguson for €135,000; and lot 318, another son of Walk In The Park who made €130,000 on the bid of Richard Frisby. The latter, part of the Ballyreddin Stud draft, is out of the listed hurdler En Vedette (Astarabad) and a half-brother to a pair of black-type horses.

Overall, 191 lots sold from 242 offered (79%) for a gross of €4,903,950 (+60%). The average was €25,675 and the median was €18,500.
