The Apr. 11 foal is one of three winners from three to the races for Thundering Sky, a two-time listed winner on the New York circuit and placed no fewer than seven times at the graded level from coast to coast.  Christophe Lemaire takes over on the half-brother to MGSP Corruption (Medaglia d'Oro), who was bought back for $120,000 at Fasig-Tipton July in 2024 before fetching $200,000 at the OBS March Sale. ELEGANT PHARAOH (f, 3, American Pharoah–Tap That App, by Tapit) was soundly beaten on her career debut going 1400 meters at Chukyo Dec. 21, but was off the mark when facing decidedly softer competition at Himeji on the NAR circuit Jan. 22 and tries the turf for the first time here. Produced by a daughter of the Grade II-paced Conquest Curlgirl (Curlin) and descending from the CresRan family of GISW Tiz Miz Sue (Tiznow) and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Bulletin (City Zip), Elegant Pharaoh is bred on the same cross responsible for Reframe, a listed winner on the grass in Japan. Acquired in utero for $125,000 at Keeneland November in 2022, the bay was a $40,000 FTNAUG purchase and matured into a $185,000 OBS April breezer.
