TDN understands the deal has been completed. Shadwell was owned by the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The farm lies close to Ashford Stud, Keeneland Racecourse and its sale grounds, Lexington Blue Grass Airport, and Calumet Farm.
