Outshine (Malibu Moon) was second, while favored Win Win Win (Hat Trick {Jpn}) settled for third in his first two-turn attempt. The winner, who is the first foal out of 2014 champion older mare Close Hatches, was fourth on debut going 1 1/16 miles at Belmont Oct. 4. He graduated by a neck at second asking at Aqueduct Nov. 10.
