Since I don't use any statistics for any evaluation in my punting that aren't derived from the individual horse I'm assessing. I don't use general stats because I know they are flawed. Just like your blue print. I don't refuse to believe. I accept it could have an impact. Just as I assess it could not have an impact. What I can't assess is what that impact is. Neither can you except by using flawed stats. It's why you lose and are always seeking more and more information so that you can try and work out why you keep losing. Of course you cant assess what impact it can have... You can't even recognise a 'course specialist' in your failed 'form analysis'... Im all over neddys whose trainer has 'peaked' for a peak performance...when the big money is up... ..naturally taking into account...WIDE without cover, unlucky, set weights back to Handicap et El... AND definitely COURSE SPECIALISTS NONE of which you have any idea how to evaluate... Redzel's 'peak' performance sans Blinkers in a Benchmark race... That consigns you to DUNCE class right there ..and that's why your CLUELESS when In comes to top of the class form analysis

Just face it your punting prowess has been displayed on BOAY as being NIL. Stop while you are so far behind. OR go head to head with Mardi over a month and we will follow the contest with interest. If either of you are worried about ruining your dividends then I can set up a Thread just for you two to post on and not visible to anyone else until the competition is over. 'licking the icon' is now in the lexicon of social media @ the World... Its in the Urban dic for "sucking up" or 'piggy backing' to ease a persons poor personal opinion of themselves It has no sexual connotations whatsoever and those whosoever wish to construe that will be judged as to the state of their dirty minds....ok? Thomass
Un momento... I was raised on the very best of Englaise.. ...but had a base of pidgin/ creole thrown in so I could be understood by a diverse range of Hoi polloi...especially for those with englaise as a second Lingo comprehension like Grasshead... One needs to have an imagination to fully grasp it though... Its called 'emotional intelligence' so solely 'numbers type' peeps often don't get it... You a CA? If it takes time for the stipes to do it then it costs. The last I heard they weren't doing their job for no pay. It costs money to gather the information and to enforce the supply of that information. Those costs far out weigh any benefit to anyone. Thomass
Yea na, I whack out a tweet in 10 seconds But I'm cheep az I guess The boys at the RIU don't bother too much so don't worry The coudnt be bothered tweeting the change of Track condition at Tauranga... ...for the kids ..you know the young gees who are the next Punters... ..but they hate social media and information I guess.. Chief Stipe
It's unfortunate for the rest of us that you whack out anything at all. As for changing track conditions the last I heard you couldn't actually tweet a bet so isn't the appropriate place for that information to be updated is on the TAB site? Given they have spent $50 perhaps they could auto tweet to their customers. After the "young one" HAVE to use the TAB to have a bet don't they? Thomass
I'm doing a hole lot of guessing today..but I'd say you're a reel olde f'er These younguns are mobile..on the run...not sat on their pat malones watching telly 24/7 They want to know the Trentham track description was absolute rubbish At least 3 levels out from Oatham sticking his foot in the morning dew... ...and a HOLDING track what's more... None of that was tweeted out...but it takes 10 seconds Maybe they could save money No gear changes...ALL horses to carry steering gear and standard bit Thatll save checking time...is that what you want? The TAB has a mobile app. They receive the updated information why don't they send the tweet as according to you it is to assist the punter.
Thomass
Good idea!! Any extra dissemination can't be bad...but Punters shouldn't have to check track conditions at the TAB site every time they bet... ..it needs to be ALERTED... If the boys at the RIU accept Twitter into their boozzies... ...they actually need to USE THE SYSTEM... Just doing it occasionally like the Northern boys are doing is f in hopeless
mardigras
Spot on chief. I doubt 50 young one twitter followers are going to be out of touch when the information is already meant to be available and accessible mobile. And the TAB could tweet it as a value add to attract customers (yeah right). Edited March 19, 2019 by mardigras
mardigras
Maybe the RIU should tweet updated barrier positions every time there is a late scratching.

How hard would it be to put UPDATED Track Conditions above each race? Or for the TAB to send the alert to the small number of twitter punters? Nothing to do with the Stipes. They're running a race meeting not giving out useless information. Bit like expecting the referee of a rugby game to tweet - "looks like Moody has an ankle problem in doubt for the first try of the game"!!! I'd prefer the stipes got the horses in the right gates and checked that the notified equipment was actually on or not on the horse. 1
