Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 20, 2019 Journalists Share Posted April 20, 2019 Group 1 winner Pretty Pollyanna (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), who won the G1 Darley Prix Morny in August, is still under consideration for the May 5 G1 QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket trainer Michael Bell told Racing Post on Saturday. Racing in the colours of Bill and Tim Gredley, the bay was originally aimed at the G3 Nell Gwyn S. which went the way of Qabala (Scat Daddy) at HQ on Apr. 16. Also successful in the G2 Duchess of Cambridge S. last July, Pretty Pollyanna’s connections are considering turning the filly back in trip and pointing toward the G1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in June. She was last seen running third to Iridessa (Ire) (Ruler of the World {Ire}) in the G1 Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket on Oct. 12. “There’s no definite decision, but the Guineas is still very much on the table,” said Bell to Racing Post. “The filly looks well and we just need to get through another couple of tests. She’s not a confirmed runner, but at this stage it’s on the table and I’d say intended.” View the full article
