Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 22, 2019 Journalists Share Posted April 22, 2019 A total of sixteen individuals, led by champion Royal Delta (Empire Maker), will be inducted into the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Friday, Aug. 2. Other inductees include jockey Craig Perret in the contemporary category; and racehorses My Juliet (Gallant Romeo), and Waya (Fr) (Faraway Son), both selected by the Historic Review Committee. The Pillars of the Turf category sees James E. “Ted” Bassett III, Christopher T. Chenery, Richard L. “Dick” Duchossois, William S. Farish, John Hettinger, James R. Keene, Frank E. “Jimmy” Kilroe, Gladys Mills Phipps, Ogden Phipps, Helen Hay Whitney, Marylou Whitney, and Warren Wright, Sr. join the Hall of Fame.
