Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted April 27, 2019 Journalists Share Posted April 27, 2019 G1SW Pretty Pollyanna (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) failed to please connections in a seven-furlong work on the Watered Gallop and will not contest the May 5 G1 QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, co-owner Tim Gredley told Racing Post on Saturday. Successful in half of her six starts as a juvenile for trainer Michael Bell, the bay first tasted group success in the G2 Duchess of Cambridge S. last July before taking the G1 Darley Prix Morny at Deauville a month later. She was last seen running third to Iridessa (Ire) (Ruler of the World {Ire}) in the G1 bet365 Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket on Oct. 12. “We have decided to take her out of the 1000 Guineas,” said Gredley to Racing Post. “We have to do what is right for the filly. She is a Group 1 winner from last year and hopefully she will come back later on.” View the full article
