Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted June 8, 2019 Journalists Share Posted June 8, 2019 WORLD OF TROUBLE (c, 4, Kantharos–Meets Expectations, by Valid Expectations) proved too good for his foes in the GI Jaipur Invitational S., taking them from gate-to-wire for a gutsy score. Quickest away from the stalls as always, the 2-5 chalk zipped through an opening quarter in:21.99 and a half in :43.85 with Belvoir Bay (GB) (Equiano {Fr}) tracking from second. A few foes moved in at the top of the stretch, but World of Trouble had not hit bottom yet and kept on finding to register a 1 1/2-length score in 1:06.32. Om (Munnings) completed the exacta. Capturing multiple stakes with ease last term, World of Trouble missed by a neck in the GI Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint Nov. 3 and kicked off this term with a win in the off-the-turf Gulfstream Turf Sprint S. Jan. 26. Scoring his first Grade I on dirt in Aqueduct’s Carter H. in April, he captured the GII Twin Spires Turf Sprint S. at Churchill May 3. Lifetime Record: 13-9-2-1.
