Saturday at Belmont. Saving ground in fourth of a tightly bunched group of five, the 8-5 second choice moved into a joint third as favored Come Dancing (Malibu Moon) registered an opening half in a sharp :45.96. Keeping the leader well within her sights the bay pounced in early stretch, taking control in a matter of strides and rolling clear to win well. Come Dancing held second over Mopotism (Uncle Mo). The final time was a sharp 1:39.49. Dominating the California sophomore fillies division last term, Midnight Bisou closed out her 3-year-old season with a third in the GI Breeders’ Cup Distaff Nov. 3.
