Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted June 25, 2019 Journalists Share Posted June 25, 2019 The Plus 10 bonus scheme, which operates across more than 800 races in Britain and Ireland and has paid out nearly £17.5-million in bonuses, will wind down by 2021. The scheme will not be open for registration for foals born this year. The scheme is ending because British funding ends in 2021. Plus 10 is a joint scheme with Ireland, so it will cease in both countries. In order to continue running through 2021, some changes have been made. Total bonuses will reduce to £8,000/€10,000 per race. The owner share will be reduced by 25%, and their owner registration fee will consequently be reduced. The trainer, jockey and stable staff elements will also be reduced, and the foal and yearling registrant shares will remain the same.
