Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 13, 2019 Journalists Share Posted July 13, 2019 With stablemate Thais (Fr) (Rio de La Plata) setting the table up front, last year’s champion turf female SISTERCHARLIE (IRE) (m, 5, Myboycharlie {Ire}–Starlet’s Sister {Ire}, by Galileo {Ire}) won the battle of the Chad Brown trainees, kicking away by two lengths in Saturday’s GI Diana S. Nearly unbeaten Rushing Fall (More Than Ready)–favored at 8-5 to Sistercharlie’s 9-5 odds–settled for second, while Homerique (Exchange Rate) rounded out the Brown trainee trifecta while producing a one-three finish for owner Peter Brant. Sistercharlie, off since her narrow score in the GI Breeders’ Cup F/M Turf in November and looking to defend her Diana title, stopped the clock in 1:47.93. Lifetime Record: 12-8-3-0. O-Peter M Brant. B-Ecurie des Monceaux. T-Chad C Brown.
