Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 17, 2019 Journalists Share Posted July 17, 2019 Last month’s Sandringham H. winner Thanks Be (GB) (Mukhadram {GB}) will join the ranks of turf fillies expatriated to the stable of Chad Brown following the announcement that the 3-year-old filly would join the trainer’s New York-based string. The Blood-Horse reported that Thanks Be was sold by Emma Capon to Madaket Stables, Michael Dubb, The Elkstone Group and Wonder Stables, and agent Brad Weisbord confirmed the new ownership group to the TDN. Thanks Be made headlines at Royal Ascot for supplying trainer Charlie Fellowes as well as jockey Hayley Turner with their first wins at the Royal meeting, and Fellowes said that while he will miss her in the yard, he expects her to excel in the U.S. “She’s flying to New York to continue her racing career in America,” said Fellowes. “She’s hopefully going to have a long and successful career over there. She’s a very talented and tough filly. She gave me the greatest day of my training career to date and I will never forget her. “She will suit their style of racing and I hope she will be a real success for her new owners.” The post Thanks Be Headed To Chad Brown appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
