Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 24, 2019 Journalists Share Posted July 24, 2019 Negotiations for Kilfrush Stud are ongoing, after the Irish nursery did not sell at auction on Wednesday, Racing Post reported. Currently owned by Qatari businessman Mubarak al Naemi, bidding stalled at €6.1 million on the bid of Andrew Nolan of Goffs, who was representing an unnamed client. The guiding price of the stud prior to the auction, which was the birthplace of champion sprinter Last Tycoon (Ire) (Try My Best) and MG1SW Immortal Verse (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}), was €5.5 million. “We’re still in negotiations with the highest bidder and I can’t say any more than that at this stage,” said Kilfrush Stud Manager David Ryan to Racing Post.
