Santa Anita Park, which will host this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships Nov. 1 and 2, will unveil a number of new amenities and hospitality areas at the start of its 23-day Autumn Meet Sept. 27. Part of a $5-million capital improvement initiative, new areas include Trackside dining just past the finish line and elevated, open-air Stretch Run Suites featuring panoramic views. There are also new Club Loge Box Seats, a new Players’ Lounge (which will host the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge) and Upper Terrace Restaurants on both the fourth and fifth floors.

“Customer service and the on-track experience here at Santa Anita are huge priorities for us,” said Aidan Butler, Acting Executive Director of California Racing Operations for The Stronach Group. “The new dining and seating options will greatly enhance that experience and we are looking forward to sharing all of these new venues with our fans and horsemen.”

Breeders’ Cup Limited President and CEO Craig Fravel added, “As we prepare to bring the Breeders’ Cup World Championships to Santa Anita for a record 10th time in November, we’re thrilled with what’s being done to upgrade an already tremendous facility. The sightlines at Santa Anita are unparalleled, as is its long, storied history of world class racing dating back to the mid-1930s. These dining and seating upgrades are going to further enhance what has already been an incredible experience for our fans and horsemen over the years and we can’t wait for what should be a great two-day event on Nov. 1 and 2.”
