Vote for Competence - Glenda Hughes - I think not

So Glenda is standing for the Greater Wellington Regional Council. Her slogan on the billboard I saw yesterday was that a vote for her (and a couple of her cohorts) is a vote for competence.  Making the TAB bankrupt is not competence.

Yet another professional  trough eater.  I can remember my GP saying you couldn't take a manager from a brewery and expect them to be competent  running a hospital.  Same applies here., what experience  / background did she have in a such a  specialised industry   to get the job ?  like Cameron George an ex car salesman running a racing club and now a league club.    Surely you choose people that know the industry.

A National Party hack who was appointed as Chair of The Racing Board by that fool Nathan Guy. She stood for Parliament and thankfully was soundly defeated.

She went for reelection on the National Party board. Got badly beaten, with the lowest vote. So that was end of her high up in National Party. Why she back double dipping, somewhere else. Plus her inference in Clutha Southland selection process, for her favourite candidate proxy, really woke a few people up to how really useless she is.
