The moment her rivals opted to allow Star Catcher (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) her own way in front at the start of Sunday’s G1 Qatar Prix Vermeille at ParisLongchamp, the game was almost as good as up for the rest and Frankie barely had to sweat to register a personal 16th top-level win of the season. Always happy on the lead as she had been when taking the G1 Irish Oaks at The Curragh July 20, Anthony Oppenheimer’s homebred kicked in the straight and had 3/4 of a length to spare over Musis Amica (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}), with a length back to another Fabre-trained 4-year-old in Ligne d’Or (GB) (Dansili {GB}) in third.
