The long-striding chestnut ranged up three deep on the turn for home and came charging down the lane to reel in Landeskog (Munnings) and win going away by 1 1/2 lengths. Trophy Chaser (Twirling Candy) was third. The final time for six furlongs was 1:08 4/5. King Jack, a good-looking winner of his first two attempts, was second-best to GISW and ‘TDN Rising Star’ Improbable (City Zip) in the Shared Belief S. going a mile at Del Mar Aug. 25.
