The MGSW & MG1SP 8-year-old, who raced almost his entire career for Qatar Racing, won both the G3 Diomed S. and G2 Summer Mile S. in 2015. The half-brother to three Italian black-type placegetters was also third earlier that season in that year’s G1 Lockinge S. After his pair of group wins, the €170,000 Goffs Orby yearling missed by only a half-length to be second in the G1 Sussex S. Later on in his career, he rolled a pair of twos in a brace of Group 3s in Australia. Sold for 145,000gns during the Tattersalls July Sale in 2018, Arod made his final three starts for Two Towers Partnership, with his last two in Dubai. His record currently stands at 31-5-7-4 and $948,616 in earnings. His winning dam is a half-sister to the dam of GSW Dark Islander (Ire) (Singspiel {Ire}), while his winning second dam is a full to MGISW Annoconnor (Nureyev) and a half to MG1SW At Talaq (Roberto).
