Uni (GB) (m, 5, More Than Ready–Unaided {GB}, by Dansili {GB}), heroine of last term’s GI Matriarch S. at Del Mar, added another top-level score in Saturday’s GI First Lady S. at Keeneland.

Off at odds of 3-1, she raced toward the back through sharp fractions of :22.71 and :45.40. The chestnut began to roll at the top of the stretch and came charging over the top down the lane to win by 2 3/4 lengths. Juliet Foxtrot (GB) (Dansili {GB}) was second; Vasilika (Skipshot) was third.

The final time of 1:32.87 for the one-mile distance was a new course and stakes record.

Uni was third as the 9-5 favorite against the boys last time out in the GI Fourstardave H. at the Spa Aug. 10.
