Paul Pompa Jr’s ‘TDN Rising Star’ homebred Regal Glory (Animal Kingdom) enters riding a three-race winning streak following her dead-heat victory with Varenka (Ghostzapper) in the GII Lake Placid S. at the Spa Aug. 17. Cafe Americano (Medaglia d’Oro) rounds out the Brown trio. The Peter Brant colorbearer came from out of the clouds to capture the GIII Pucker Up S. at Arlington last time Aug. 10. Brown has won this race with Breeders’ Cup winners Dayatthespa (City Zip) in 2012 and ‘TDN Rising Star’ Rushing Fall (More Than Ready) last year. Godolphin homebred and French Classic heroine Castle Lady (Ire) (Shamardal) figures to attract plenty of attention at the windows in this first trip across the pond.
