Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 14, 2019 Journalists Share Posted October 14, 2019 After British racing was advised to “make plans” in case of a no-deal Brexit earlier in the month, the United Kingdom was granted third country status by the European Union in the event of a no-deal Brexit, Racing Post reported. This allows racehorses to move between the UK and the EU after a no-deal Brexit, but there are still movement issues to be hashed out in the event of a no-deal. Currently the Tripartite Agreement allowing free movement of racehorses and breeding stock will end on Oct. 31.
