Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 18, 2019 Journalists Share Posted October 18, 2019 WinStar has set the 2020 stud fees for its 21-horse roster headed by top international sire More Than Ready, who remains at $80,000. The farm has two new additions to its roster in GI Florida Derby hero Audible (Into Mischief), who will stand his first season at $25,000, and dual surface MGISW Yoshida (Jpn) (Heart’s Cry {Jpn}), whose fee will be announced following his run in the GI Breeders’ Cup Classic. A familiar face returns to the roster in Take Charge Indy (A.P. Indy), who returns to WinStar from Korea and will stand for $17,500. Leading freshman sire Constitution’s (Tapit) fee has been increased from $15,000 to $40,000 for 2020. Several stallions will have their fees decreased for the 2020 season: Carpe Diem (Giant’s Causeway) from $25,000 to $15,000; Congrats (A.P. Indy) from $12,500 to $10,000; Exaggerator (Curlin) from $25,000 to $20,000; Fed Biz (Giant’s Causeway) from $10,000 to $7,500; Overanalyze (Dixie Union) from $15,000 to $7,500; Paynter (Awesome Again) from $12,500 to $10,000; Speightstown (Gone West) from $80,000 to $70,000; Super Saver (Maria’s Mon) from $30,000 to $15,000; Tiznow (Cee’s Tizzy) from $50,000 to $40,000; and Tourist (Tiznow) from $10,000 to $7,500. Remaining the same for 2020 are: Always Dreaming (Bodemeister) at $25,000; Commissioner (A.P. Indy) at $7,500; Distorted Humor (Forty Niner) at $50,000; Good Samaritan (Harlan’s Holiday) at $12,500; Outwork (Uncle Mo) at $15,000; and Speightster (Speightstown) at $10,000. All fees are S&N.
