Covered up early by Silvestre de Sousa against the far rail, the 6-year-old who was last seen finishing runner-up in the Oct. 5 G3 Bengough S. over this course and distance was stopped in his run inside the final two furlongs but rallied to reel in the 4-1 joint-favourite in the final 50 yards and prevail by a length, with Forever In Dreams (Ire) (Dream Ahead) a neck away in third. “I had a great draw and didn’t want to come too soon, but he loves the mud,” his rider said.
