Rabbah Bloodstock snapped up Clonmult Farm’s offering, who is out of the winning Countess Ferrama (GB) (Authorized {Ire}), herself a half-sister to Classic hero Indian Haven (GB) (Indian Ridge {Ire}) and Italian champion Count Dubois (GB) (Zafonic). Monday’s priciest colt, by the late Champs Elysees (GB), hailed from the draft of Heather Crest Stud. Oak Tree Farm secured lot 197 for €36,000. Out of the Galileo (Ire) mare Cordially (Aus), the bay’s extended family contains group winners Caspian Prince (Ire) (Dylan Thomas {Ire}) and Spirit Quartz (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}). At the end of the day, 254 yearlings had passed through the ring-one less than in 2018–with 191 (75%) sold for an aggregate of €1,130,400. The average was €5,918 and the median settled at €3,800. Every metric posted gains, with a jump of 15% in the clearance rate. The average and median rose 4.4% and 26.7%, respectively.
