The Breeders’ Cup announced late Friday that Coolmore America/Ashford Stud has been tabbed as “Presenting Partner” for the GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, worth $1 million, to be held Nov. 1 during “Future Stars Friday” at Santa Anita. The five Breeders’ Cup World Championship races held Friday will exclusively feature 2-year-olds. Contested at a mile and restricted to males, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf–Presented by Coolmore America has a post time of 4:52 p.m. ET and will be televised live domestically on NBCSN.

“It is with great pleasure that we join with Coolmore America in announcing this new presenting partnership of the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf,” said Chris McNamara, Breeders’ Cup Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships. “Over the years, Coolmore has been at the forefront of the international bloodstock community, breeding and racing the future stars of our sport, and their support of the Juvenile Turf is another example of that commitment.”

Coolmore partners have won the Juvenile Turf four times since 2011, including in 2017 with Mendelssohn (Scat Daddy), who stood his first season at Ashford Stud this year.
