Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 30, 2019 Journalists Share Posted October 30, 2019 The New York Racing Association announced that all-sources handle at the Belmont Park fall meet, which concluded Sunday after the final eight races on the card were cancelled due to high wins and heavy rains, totaled $274,929,718. NYRA was also forced to cancel the entire card on Thursday, Oct. 17 due to high winds. Average daily handle over the 37 days of racing was $7,430,533 with on-track handle totaling $32,523,572. All-sources handle on 35 race days last year was $269,002,237. Racing on the NYRA circuit begins at Aqueduct on Friday.
