Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 31, 2019 Journalists Share Posted October 31, 2019 Two-time graded winner and Grade I-placed Enticed (Medaglia d’Oro–It’s Tricky, by Mineshaft) has been retired from racing and will stand the 2020 season at Darley’s Jonabell Farm in Kentucky. Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, the Godolphin homebred won on debut at Saratoga in 2017 and was third in that year’s GI Champagne S. Closing out his juvenile campaign with a win in the GII Kentuck y Jockey Club S., the Kiaran McLaughlin pupil was fourth in the GII Holy Bull S. last term, but rebounded with a win in the GIII Gotham S. Runner-up to Vino Rosso (Curlin) in the 2018 GII Wood Memorial S., the son of MGISW It’s Tricky was last seen running in the GI Kentucky Derby last May. “We are extremely excited to stand Enticed at Darley,” said Darley Sales Manager Darren Fox. “A very special situation really. A Godolphin homebred, by Medaglia d’Oro, and out of Godolphin’s multiple Grade I winner It’s Tricky. Add to all that, he is physically outstanding and we think he represents great value for breeders with a lot of upside.” Enticed will be available for inspection at Jonabell’s Open House during the November Sales, running from Nov. 5 through Nov. 15 from 1p.m. to 3p.m. daily.
