A colt each by Dubawi (Ire) and Galileo {Ire}) will be among the highlights of the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale on Nov. 25, for which the catalogue was released on Friday. The Dubawi colt (lot 35), is out of the G1 Irish St Leger winner Voleuse de Coeurs (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}) and was bred by Sun Kingdom, which enjoyed a momentous October Yearling Sale with another son of Dubawi when selling the sale-topping 3.6-million gns colt, like this one through Hazelwood Bloodstock. This colt’s as-yet unraced 2-year-old full-sister Late Romance (GB) made 500,000gns at Book 1 last year.

The Galileo colt (lot 4) is out of the G3 Prestige S. winner Sent From Heaven (Ire) (Footstepsinthesand {GB}). The May 31-born colt was bred by Christopher Hanbury, who sold a Galileo (Ire) colt out of Jacqueline Quest (Ire) at Book 1 for 1.1-million gns.

The catalogue of 200 for the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale features siblings to seven Group 1 winners, 42 group and listed winners and 25 yearlings out of group or listed-winning mares.

“The Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is a consistent source of top-class performers and Group 1 Prix d’Ispahan winner Zabeel Prince and G2 Royal Lodge S. winner Royal Dornoch are evidence of the quality on offer,” said Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony. “The vast majority of the leading British and Irish sires have yearlings catalogued, and owners and trainers will undoubtedly be drawn towards the large number of yearlings qualified for lucrative Tattersalls bonuses or valuable sales races.”
