Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 2, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 2, 2019 MGISW Imperial Hint (Imperialism) was a late scratch from the GI Breeders’ Cup Sprint Saturday morning due to a minor foot issue. “Sadly, Imperial Hint was scratched from the Breeder’s Cup Sprint,” trainer Luis Carvajal, Jr. tweeted. “We were definitely looking forward to this race. Unfortunately, he had minor issue. He will be back to Florida in a couple days where he’ll resume training. The ‘Little Rocket’ will race by the end of the year and 2020.” The dark bay was coming into the World Championships off of back-to-back wins in Saratoga’s GI Alfred G. Vanderbilt S. July 27 and Belmont’s GI Vosburgh Invitational S. Sept. 28.
