Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 5, 2019 Journalists Share Posted November 5, 2019 Three Chimneys Farm’s Palace Malice (Culin–Palace Rumor, by Royal Anthem), who celebrated his first Grade I winner with GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf victor Structor Nov. 1, will command $25,000 in 2020. A winner of the GI Belmont S. and GI Metropolitan H., the freshman sire also has 13 winners to date, including SW and GII Miss Grillo S. bridesmaid Crystalle and the SP Spitefulness. He stood for $15,000 in 2019. “We have always had a strong belief in Palace Malice’s chances of developing into an important sire,” said Three Chimneys owner Gonçalo Torrealba. “He was an immensely talented horse who Todd Pletcher described as the most versatile horse he had ever trained. He is cut in the mold of his Classic sire Curlin, one of the most desirable stallions in the breed today. In setting his stud fee, we wanted to keep to our philosophy of providing fellow breeders with exceptional value.” The post Palace Malice Upped to $25,000 appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
